My name is Taylor Pennell. I live in Indianapolis, and have since I was born. I have an 18 year old brother, 5 year old half sister, 13 year old step sister, and 21 year old step brother. Let's just say, we have a lot going on! :) I am studying elementary education, and am hoping to teach somewhere in the 3rd-4th grade range. I have been debating whether I want to go into social work or elementary education, but I do want to work with children. When I'm not at school, I play soccer, volunteer with my Sam H. Jones family (a service scholarship program), and work at Sears. I also love to watch movies, hang out with my friends and watch sports! I do not like snow... at all! Spring and Fall are definitely my favorite holidays. I also love to do arts and crafts, and I often use my five year old sister as an excuse to do many of them! :)
This blog experience was pretty easy for me. In highschool we had to do a blog for my cadet teaching class. It was a fun way to plan something new for students to use. I had a difficult time remembering where I could edit my background, colors, fonts, etc. If you click on the design tab and then click on "Template Designer," you can make your background! It's fun to mess with the different combinations and see what looks the best. When you make changes, it shows you what you are changing so you can see. :)
